IPL Auction: Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins land record deals

Australia's World Cup-winning stars Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins broke the Rs 20cr barrier in the IPL auction in Dubai. Starc became the most expensive player in IPL history, as he was snapped up for an eye-popping Rs 24.75cr. Both Starc and Cummins set a new record by breaching the Rs 20cr-mark in salary. Starc's previous IPL stint was in 2014-15, and this time he aims to use the T20 league as preparation for the T20 World Cup. The auction also saw big paydays for uncapped Indian players.
